American Adventure: Kabuli Kid und Session Americana

Kam gerade von einem Abstecher in die Rodeo Bar nach Hause - heute war Session Americana angesagt. Einmal mehr seeeeeeeeeehr cooler Event, wohl verdient nach getaner Arbeit.

Davor war wieder einmal Kino angesagt gewesen. Keine Hollywoodschinken, sondern die Premiere von Kabuli Kid. Ein Taxifahrer wird ungewollt zum "Finder" eines kleinen Jungen, nachdem dessen Mutter ihn im Taxi liegen lässt.

Der Film gibt Einblicke in das Leben in Kabul, Afghanistan, und ist absolut empfehlenswert. Die Kamera wirkt nie aufgesetzt, sondern ist immer dezent im Hintergrund. Der Zuschauer kommt sich vor wie ein unsichtbarer Begleiter in einem fremden Land.
